Contour Airlines Expands Presence in Midwest
Today (February 5th 2020), Contour Airlines (previously Corporate Flight Management) announced that they will commence operations out of the Indianapolis International Airport with three destinations (KBNA, KPIT, and KSTL) starting in June of this year... a photo attached to the announcement on IND's Facebook page also showed potential route expansion to other cities such as Buffalo (KBUF), Cleveland (KCLE), Des Moines (KDSM), Little Rock (KLIT), Memphis (KMEM), Milwaukee (MKE), Madison… (www.ind.com) עוד...

Interesting. Wonder why ERJ135. Would be my last pick of a cant stand cant sit aircraft. Bet there was a Groupon involved :) By the way did IATA formally adopt the K IN KBUF etc>

Buffalo has been KBUF for as long as it's been an airport... as for the E135, it's Contour's choice of aircraft due to the surplus of aircraft type sitting in the desert that were able to be picked up for a reasonable price... plus ease of training new pilots... originally, Contour was supposed to have 10 E135s and OneJet was due to have 9 E135s plus 1 E145... but after OneJet went defunct, Conour took all of OneJet's aircraft (which is why they have just the lone E145 plus 1 E135 from OneJet (who never took "delivery" of the other 8 E135s...

Having flown on OneJet's E135 and E145 a few times, the 30 seat configuration makes for a very comfortable ride for their relatively short flights... shoot, at the time, the E145 bulk head seat had nearly 5 feet of legroom before they rearranged where the seats would get permanently placed
