Mmmmmmm, why did i know that someone would suggest that the person at fault should be fired? - my other thinking was that we would get a whole bunch of "dumb ass" or "idiot" comments. I therefore assume that everyone on this site thinks they are perfect and have never made a mistake in their lifes... i hardly think so.
By no means. I wish I'd had the opportunity in my young/unmarried years that the Quantus pilot had. Having been part of this industry, I know where it would go if I'd performed as described. Hence, the "you're fired" comment.
Alright, i can see where you're coming from now. I do hope that they do not get fired - there is enough people out of work right now. Perhaps a bit of re-training would be called for?
Maybe we can get Charlie Sheen to do a "gentleman's" course for him.
My personal feeling is that if a person never makes a mistake, they are not doing anything. That being said, if that mistake repeats, that means that they did not learn anything from the earlier error. THEN, there is a problem.
