Boeing’s Dreamliner Problems Aren’t Grounded Yet
The 787s are getting closer to actually flying, but they’re unlikely to be profitable for many years. (www.businessweek.com) עוד...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
Every airframe has a break-even point for its manufacturer. Some like the L-1011 and Convair 880 and 990 never get there. I dont doubt that the 787 will easily eclipse the break even point and become profitable once the initial hurdles are cleared.
As soon as they stop bleeding orders and paying penalty fees, things will start to move in a positive direction for the company,a competent management team would also help.I'm hoping for the best.
I'm still not sure how it will hold up with it's first real-wolrd lightening strike, especially at slow approach speeds say 5 miles out and at 2500ft.
