This is encouraging news - it's good to see some positive developments.
And at the same time they are laying off pilots according to this squawk:

Yes, did read that. They are extending cabin crew contracts by few years only. It is also planning to retire almost 45 of its A380 fleet. Being the largest operator of A380 is definitely taking a toll in these uncertain times.
