Candler Field Museum (web)
Currently, the Candler Field Museum houses the museum's collection of airplanes, cars, clothing and other items relevant to the early 1900s. Aircraft include a 1918 Curtiss JN-4, a 1928 Curtiss Robin, a 1928 C-3B Stearman, a 1930 6L Stearman, a 1941 PT-17 Stearman and a 1940 Douglas DC-3A. The museum has plans to construct three more hangers that will serve as apartments, a restoration shop and storage for the museum's DC-3A. Also, a reproduction of the original Candler Field (now Hartsfield-Jackson) terminal building will be constructed and it will serve as a hotel and banquet area.
