Douglas DC-3 (ANZ3546) - 28 February 2009. The last day of civil operations at Wigram Aerodrome before being closed forever. Formally a military aerodrome, Wigram had been part of Christchurch city since 1917!.br /A C47B painted in RNZAF colors as NZ3546 of 42 Squadron rests on the Wigram apron before departure for the final time. A very sad day for all us Kiwi aviators...

Registration should be "NZ3546" not ANZ.
Sad day indeed, Sir Henry would have been very disappointed.
