Aerospatiale Concorde (G-BOAA) - Swoooooooosh as the real Speedbird drops in on Tampa early 1985. As an ex pat I was filled with pride. Still am, as I fly out from there all the time. My father had an office in Filton back in 69 and was fortunate to watch the first ever take off from there. When I lived in Devon, our windows would rattle every night at around 6.15 pm, as the sound barrier was broken, somewhere west of the Irish coast. Just amazing.
