I remember that Conair, in BC, Canada, converted many CL-415's and built Conair Firecats for delivery to the Sécurité Civile in France. At the end of my Avionics studies in 1983 I was offered the opportunity to join them on a delivery flight. Due to circumstances I had to cancel. Still can cick myself for that...
