Northrop T-38 Talon (68-8127)

Tail number is actually 68-8127,year is always smaller and first digit after dash is usally missing,see them all the time.Just have to know how to read them.

Such a beautiful, sleek aircraft. These fly over my house all day long near Randolph AFB San Antonio.

Jess Sandifer - One is fortunate to live near an Air Force base or a Naval Air Station. Ergo a Marine Corps Air Station or an U.S. Army Airfield.

The CB tail code on this T-38 Talon identifies it as being from Columbus AFB, near Columbus, MS. Columbus AFB also has the T-1 Jayhawk and the T-6 Texan II aircraft assigned there.

Rarely see a T-38 in burner like that..........

They appear to be flying civilian, after-USAF-service, T-38s at Mather Field, CA (MHR).
Note that the new Iranian fighter is a COPY of our ancient T-38, but, with two humps on the spine.
