Cessna LC-126 (N9847A)
Taking off! One wheel just starting to come up. Very nice to see a classic tail dragger doing its thing.

A sweetest looking plane on the ground or in the air. A Classic !
beautiful 195 ole Jake doing his thing!
O.K., nice shot. However, why doesn't the photog/poster use the civilian designation of Cessna 195 instead of the stupid military version, LC-126. According to the FAA this is a C-195A and was powered by the Jacobs L4 engine, which was not used in the LC-126 in any version. Total LC-126 production was 83. Total production of the C-195 non-military in all versions was 1087.
I always wanted to fly one.
Beautiful pic & plane Phil......
I'll miss Oshkosh this year with the pandemic but your pic makes me look forward to 2021.
