Man that is beautiful! Love the A-10! I wasn't an infantryman, but ATC at KMCC, which was the depot maintenance facility back in the 80s. They would do anything I asked, go fast, go slow, turn tight... etc... We had an airshow on the field and they did a demo and the pilot turned 360º within the infield, even I was flabbergasted watching from the tower. And A-10 pilots are just special, they just "get it". Makes me tear up a little... LOL.

I am already regretting the fact that the era of NCAR at RTS has ended; however, I attended the past 26 years of NCAR and as a result I have multi, multi, MULTI thousands of photos taken over the past quarter-century of racing. (Not to mention the multi thousands of pics I've taken over the past decade at the other area air shows.) And there are going to be three air shows in northern Nevada next year - including one at Stead - so I'll have hundreds of newly clicked pics.
But getting back to the pics at Stead, I'll tell you what I'll do. Email me at OldeCarl@gmail.com and I will email one or two pics - from previous NCARs - to you each month. And I can promise that each pic will never have been viewed on any website or by any person before you. In other words, every pic I ever send will be an original "first-time" share from my files. The reason I can promise this is because I have well into the hundred-thousands of photos. And in fact, if you are a US military metalbird fan, I can make the same offer to you about warbirds because I've got (let's just say) a he--uva lot of those too - from KNFL, KRNO, Travis, Beale, etc, et al.
