Diamond DV-20 Katana (N678CS)

What was it like flying in there? And did you stay somewhere at the resort? I first found out about 2NC0 here on FA last year, and ever since, I've thought about how neat it would be to fly in there (or somewhere similar out West, since I don't live anywhere near North Carolina).

It was a blast, Taylor. Definitely a new challenge. I definitely recommend arriving at least an hour before sunset, especially the first time. The sun makes it very hard to see terrain and airport details when it is setting. They have a fantastic website as well. www.mapilots.org.
I used VRBO to find a place. There are some reasonable condos with beautiful views. If you love the mountains and are ok bringing all your food in, it's a great place to go.
We have already planned a second trip!
