After a rare public display at Wings Over Wayne Air Show last weekend, I caught BACN06, departing Seymour Johnson AFB, North Carolina on a foggy morning, Monday, 5 May 2025.
The E-11A battlefield airborne communications node (BACN), a modified Bombardier Global Express 6000/BD700-1A10 business jet, is one of only four built for the USAF and assigned to the 18th Airborne Command and Control Squadron, Warner Robins AFB, GA.
