Nice photo. What's up with that cargo door? Its not flush with the fuselage. Not a good thing for a DC-10,I mean MD-11...
You hate to see these giants put out to pasture but time marches on.
Regarding the cargo door, it appears fine, but, for the missing handle.
What worries me most is what happened to the wing tips?
Furthermore, these cargo birds are not likely to be put out to pasture for a long time.
They are, as freighters, likely under utilized and well maintained.
From what I understand, moreover, freighters want mostly to be FedEx freighters; because, Fred Smith reportedly takes a loving personal interest in each of them.
