This Douglas C-47 was made at the Douglas Plant, Long Beach in 1943. It's illustrious career included involvement in the D-Day landings. Recently it has been used in film and T.V. including, Spies Like Us, Shining Through and Band of Brothers amongst others. here it is on static display at Farnborough 2012.
