Alitalia began repainting the fleet with a new livery from June 2015, as new 49% owner-investor Etihad Airways (EY) attempted a revamp of the brand. This classic “Tricolor A” Alitalia livery dates back to 1969 and the arrival of AZ’s first Boeing 747’s.
