The type designator for most varieties of UH-1 (Iroquois) is UH1.

The submitter is correct though. This aircraft is registered as a 1971 UH1H.

@michael when posting a photo, Flightaware requires the ICAO type code, which is UH1.

Does anybody have any idea what's happening here? Is this helicopter spraying blossoming fruit or nut trees? We now know that's one factor in the decline of honeybees (spraying pesticides on blooming plants). This photo looks like a scan - hopefully this is a very old photograph?
