Airbus's New Patent for Storage Under Seat Cushions

I hope they have a way to automatically lock those bins when the seat belt light is indicated. Otherwise we will have a jack-in-the-box style popup everytime a traveler needs something from the bin.
I wonder what it would do to boarding times.
Think that they do this so the name is always in the headlines somewhere, ho hum.
