A Norwegian Boeing 737 Has Been Stuck in Iran For Almost 6 Weeks Now
It’s hard to believe that we’re now entering the sixth week of Norwegian’s 737 MAX 8 being grounded in Iran. Despite best efforts by the airline to get their heads around complicated Iranian laws, as well as appealing to the US to allow a spare part to be sent over, the plane remains standing at Shiraz airport. enough of this silly sanctions battle: Norwegian Airlines are our friends, the Iranians not our friends, but no case can be made not to help get back the 737 with the needed parts. How is this aiding the Iranians? I don't get it
Oh the agony...why did they choose to land at Shiraz? Merlot would have been more palatable.
