UK Airport Runway Sees Pink!
A wild pink flamingo managed to shut down a runway at Manchester Airport on Monday. The bird, named Ringo, appeared on Sunday night and could not be persuaded to 'take off' until 1230 Monday afternoon despite attemps made by airport staff by blasting loud music from one of their 4x4 trucks.
