Retro Mania. Have We Gone Vintage Livery Crazy?

Yes, and give me MOAR!!!!!

The reason there so many retro livery aircraft is because the new liveries are so ugly!!! I also airlines use it as a marketing to remind travelers of a different time when flying was glamorous and fun.

Back in the early 2000s, it became my turn to 'captain' the American Airlines 757 RetroJet. Great looking aircraft. While walking down the jetbridge, a strange thought occurred to me...What if they took the retro thing a step too far and I open the cockpit door to find myself in a vintage 1959 flight deck??

Fortunately, that wasn't the case!
