Why would anyone who has been to Walmart feel the need to trudge across the dessert to find aliens?

I thought 'the box' was already a no-fly, especially since it is within the Tonopah Test Range. One of the few places that will get even a military pilots' wings yanked. If they are playing in the adjacent Nellis Test Range, they all have a big-gas sticky note of where NOT to go.
