Airlines have been getting away with this for years, they take the money for each seat - overbooked or not. Who cares if the passenger doesn't show up? They have already been paid for the seat, but for those who have been told 'you will just have to wait until the next flight' and 'you will have to apply for a refund' this is good news. The airlines are finally being told to be honest
