Fed Ex's "Amanda" caught earlier today (Wed., Apr 27, 2011) climbing out from Reno's runway 16R.

TYVM, Ken. Gotta tell ya .... I was scrolling thru the Comments and I saw your name, and you are one of the photogs I (and the others in our small group) always view, so when I saw your name I clicked on the photo ..... to see whose it was and to get a look at the pic. (Grin) And I was very, very startled when I saw the name of the photographer ..... (HUGE grin)
The departure was indeed quite awesome. i suspect this one was "travelling light." As for the photo, well, since it was clicked almost 9 years ago, well, let's just say the photographer was still learning how to use a digital camera and his status as an amateur photographer is fully revealed in this shot. Waaaay tooooo light, eh? (Sad smile) Fuselage is really blown out. I probably should request that it be deleted from my folder, but the "climb angle' really is pretty awesome so I'll leave it in.
