Great picture, I was attached to VFP206, Andrews AFB, 1981 thru 1986, last F8 squadron in the Navy. Last DET was to CVN69 Eisenhower 1985 it would be the last time a F8 would see a carrier deck

I worked on the T-28 line at NAF Andrews and it was probably 1962 when the Twosader, as it was know, flew in. However, a small hydraulic leak had to be repaired before it left. As I recall it had two circles each with a control stick and a hand on them painted on the vertical stabilizer. Robert Mann ex-AMS2
