nice picture of a nice plane, but why did they paint the squadron badge on the rear fuselage? That's usually at the cockpit-engine area!
Finally a picture of a real 109 ... not some ugly Buchon... Great paint work! The Flying Heritage collection would be my main reason to visit Seattle.
To answer stratrevival's question. FHCAM placed the emblem in the correct position on the aircraft for that period in 1940. There are some photo's pre 1940 that show the emblem near the cockpit. All of the 109's shot down over the UK had the emblem as photographed. I highly recommend visiting Paine Field in Everett Washington to witness, photograph and listen to WWII aircraft history. A treat to the eyes and ears!
