Now that's a GREAT paint scheme! That's what Mooney should have used when they went back into production in 1974. My boss at Conn. Mooney Sales got the first M20C off the production line when started again in 1974 and it was hidious. They wanted something different but it was terrible and they only painted a few. After a few weeks my boss had it repainted in the 1970 scheme.

You'd think that Mooney's quality control would have caught the fact that the tail was on backwards. Wink,wink. One or the few iconic GA planes I've never gotten a ride in.
