This handheld low-light click (ISO 400, f4.5, 1/4th second shutter) captures UPS's N135UP holding on Reno Tahoe International's taxiway Bravo, the fifth aircraft in a seven plane departure queue, awaiting its turn to take off.
Although the first moment of dawn light is already lighting up the sky, a layer of icy fog at ground level is obscuring any illumination from the sky. That same freezing fog is slowing the process of morning departures and has led to a line of seven aircraft (AA, SW, Delta, SW, UPS, American Eagle, and SW) waiting their turns to depart.
