Boeing 737-800 (N280EA)
Eastern's N280EA, a B738 and currently one of the five aircraft in Eastern's ever-growing fleet, is captured as it flares out to touch tires to the runway 16R concrete to complete its brief early afternoon flight from Elko, Nevada, with Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders aboard.

Thank you, Dwight. This same aircraft had been here in Reno just over a week earlier but my clicks of it then were not very good, so I was super pleased when I realized I would be getting a "second chance" to snap it last Friday. I was at RNO for eight hours, and the investment in time paid off far better than I had dared to hope: the pilots took me out so I could snap close-ups from every angle.
Nice shot, and that's pretty cool that you got to get up close. Keep it up!
Fantastic...Old livery AA Mad Dog behind an EA hockey stick livery...great composition and camera work! In Boston, we would say hey look, there's a letter AH on the mountainside... :)
Not only an awesome paint scheme but Sanders too! No wonder Eastern's fleet is growing!
