Nice shot - the program is still active???
ADELMA:
As far as I can tell the program is still active. I see this Tiltrotor continuing doing test runs in this area. According to the FlightAware site, there is no such username as Adelma and clicking on that name reveals nothing implying there is no account. How can that be? Can someone leave a comment without an account.

NASA AMES originally had the 609 in the 80's-90's, (Tail # 703) but this fuselage is very different, landing gear more aft and no split tail. At that time is was mainly a Bell/Military funded project. I worked the program a number of years there. Does anyone know how many have been built?
Warmwynds - I've been a 'basic user' since 2010. Not a photographer; just an airplane nut.
FIREWATCH:
I don't know how many have been built of that Model. Nice to see some info from someone close to this aircraft. Taken quite a few of N609PA from different angles that can be seen by entering N609PA in the search block and clicking on the initial photo. Thanks for the comment.

You would think that a basic user would have something on the page, just extremely unusual. Anyway thanks for the comment and continue to be an "airplane nut" especially since it is the main cuisine on most flights.
