McDonnell Douglas MD-83 (N984TW)

Great old bird. Some years back my Dad had a minor heart attack while on vacation in Reno. I was delegated to go down and fetch him home from the hospital there. Flew back from RNO to SEA in one of these. Because he had to be boarded/deboarded in a wheelchair we got an automatic upgrade to First Class. We were the only ones in that part of the plane and I remember it was the quietest ride I ever had before or since.

Yes! Yes! Me too Jim. I thought it was just me but my wife and I were just outside first and it was very quiet. Thanks. For the pic too. I've always liked the MD80. Nice capture of this one.
