"Memories" one of the first aircraft I rode on. I think it was TWA or United.

Flew Allegheny Airlines DC3 from Erie, PA to Newark Airport in 1956. Quite an exciting ride for a ten-year-old traveling alone.

Flown in this aircraft many times. My first time age 6, 1946, Commercial DC3 from Sea-Tac to San Diego. First and only time I was air sick. 1959,flew C-47 McCord to Moffitt on ROTC trip. My feet froze, my head sweated. Found the unused radio operators position and was comfortable the rest of the way. Love the old goony bird.

Very first aircraft I worked on in South Africa, and did many modifications.
Weather radar, the DC3 looked like a Teddy Bear. Always get a twinge when I see one.
