Great shot Joan. Tight crop, front on - they look strange because of what they are, but then, they're built for purpose, not for beauty.

Thanks Gavin, yes heavy crop because one side wasant even. I can agree with you, they are certainly NOT built for beauty!

Probably the narrowest track main landing gear, of necessity for what she needs to do as an amphibian. Max Takeoff Weight (from a runway) is approx 100,000 pounds...

I checked on the track of that main landing gear. It's just 11 feet 9 inches. But her wingspan is an impressive 109 feet.
