WTF is this contributing to the plane spotting?

Written on 20/07/2014 by Guido Warnecke

At the very bottom of the page you should see "Photo Tags" which will have the info you typed. You can change it there.

This aircraft currently flying around the world, with AMELIA ROSE EARHART at the controls ... Retracing the flight plan of the First AMELIA EARHART

Greetings to Guy!

Really another bad photo with no contribution to the flightaware tracking website.

Written on 09/03/2014 by Guido Warnecke

I didn't actually see them in person anywhere there. Where were they hiding?

Why is the image flipped?

I like how there's an ad for Universal's fuel card on the side of the DC9.

The CAP does a great work to bring the youth closer to aviation!

Written on 22/03/2014 by Guido Warnecke

Amen the that and thanks!

Written on 22/03/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Thanks. It can be hard to get a shot without any people or excess clutter and when I saw the planes parked the way they were, up came the camera. It was also in the morning which made for some good lighting.

Written on 13/03/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Great shot. Good use of lines and composition.

Written on 21/02/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Neither. It's halfway extended.

Written on 27/04/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

I'm not sure why this one was given a water salute, but a plane will often be given the salute when the pilot is on his last flight before retiring. This one could have been for that reason or maybe because the aircraft was being retired.

Written on 03/04/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

I hope Juan gets the message.

Written on 10/03/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Thank you. I've been photographing the Tbirds for years and always like it when I get one that stands out.

Lucky dog! A chance to fly in a B-25 AND fly alongside a P-40.

Written on 10/03/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

This looks like a possible HDR image to me, a very well done one.

Written on 11/05/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Your photos are bad. Nothing has changed.

Written on 13/12/2018 by Guido Warnecke

Thanks. I've photographed this aircraft a lot.

Written on 23/02/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Cougar has a different connotation lately. Some cougars might be interested in a pilot with his own plane (might have some money).

The best C501 in the market!

Written on 16/03/2014 by Guido Warnecke

Great shot.

Written on 21/02/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Thanks. It is indeed a special airplane and it was a thrill to see 76 of them in one place (Gathering of Mustangs and Legends airshow).

Written on 13/03/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Who wants to see this????

Written on 12/07/2018 by Guido Warnecke

"...Watch for a backup on the 77 North, now back to today's hits..."

Written on 20/09/2013 by blueashflyer

Thank you. I turned around when he pulled in, and had only a couple of seconds to get the shot the way I wanted it.

Written on 04/03/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Thank you.

Written on 12/03/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

I agree. It's not necessary to post every-single-snap of the shutter, especially when 99% of it is terrible and should have been deleted. It's absolutely ridiculous to post 74 snapshots of the same plane on approach and takeoff. These are terrible images and a waste of time and space on FlightAware's storage space.

Written on 12/03/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

This F-15 seems to be rolling downlhill.

Written on 30/03/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Wow! Nice.

Written on 26/02/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Nice!

Written on 25/08/2014 by Guido Warnecke

I agree. There's a whole lot of junk and mediocre images uploaded to this site. Some people seem to do wholesale 'dumping' of photos regardless of quality. They get a high number of posts because they just upload whatever they take, good or bad, mostly bad.

Written on 10/03/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Nice tree.

Written on 13/09/2013 by Guido Warnecke

Timing is everything and you got it on this one. Good shot. I like the way the wings line up on a straight line.

Written on 04/03/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

This 747 is going to have a hard time landing; it's landing uphill.

Written on 16/03/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

This user is known for this. He stole 25 of one photographer's images and more of other photographers. Most have been removed by staff.

Written on 13/09/2013 by Guido Warnecke

Not good.

Alamo1000 - thanks. I use a Nikon D800.

In which sense does this one and other photos of yours contribute to a flight tracking and plane spotting web site?

Written on 07/12/2013 by Guido Warnecke

Ron Harper - GPS the address I've pasted below. It will get you within 100 feet of the location. It's a street that dead ends against the airport's fence. Plane-spotters are strongly advised to call KIAH Airport Operations to "check in" with them. Tell them you're at "Rankin Road" and they'll ask you a few questions.

2501 Rankin Road
Houston, TX 77032

A fast aircraft!

Written on 05/11/2013 by Guido Warnecke

Wow! I really like this shot. There are so many great elements-people with cameras, sand being kicked up, the shadow on people, everybody focused on the plane, and of course, the plane.

Written on 27/02/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Great shot! I'm sure you got an earful of engine when this plane passed overhead.

Written on 27/02/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Nice light.

Written on 13/09/2013 by Guido Warnecke

Again here my question: what does a photo like this contribute to the flightaware.com photo section?

Written on 15/12/2013 by Guido Warnecke

Niiiice.

Written on 04/03/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Very nice flying and energy management.
