South African Airways CEO Resigns

Monwabisi Kalawe, the suspended chief executive officer of South African Airways, has resigned with immediate effect from the unprofitable state-owned carrier after facing a disciplinary hearing into alleged misconduct. Kalawe was suspended from Africa’s biggest airline over allegations that included the use of company equipment to record colleagues in his fight against a sexual harassment claim and that he had an affair with a co-worker.
